Recognise risky patterns
Gambling is not an income strategy. Warning signs can include chasing losses, hiding activity, spending money reserved for essentials, borrowing to gamble, or feeling unable to stop.
Use limits and breaks
Where available, set hard deposit, loss and session limits before engaging with a gambling service. Take breaks away from gambling content, turn off promotional notifications and consider device- or bank-level gambling blocks.
Seek help
Contact a qualified support service in your own country, such as GamCare in Great Britain or the National Council on Problem Gambling in the United States. Availability and service scope depend on location.
Protect your immediate safety
If gambling is causing immediate financial or emotional danger, reach out to a trusted person and an appropriate local support or emergency service. Do not attempt to recover previous losses by making another bet.
Extend protection across services
Self-exclusion on one website may not cover others. Read the self-exclusion guide for additional controls.
